build conditions?

does anybody ever think its too cold to build or just plainly too lazy? thats how i've been feeling. i have wooden rear panels to make, a new false floor, new sub box...and a rewire...as well as adding 8 coax speakers to the list....

just havn't been in the excting install mood...maybe its because of the 30 degree weather but thats just a guess.

I hate working in the cold too, bro. I was in the middle of my friend's Lincoln LS build when the weather went to shit and I haven't touched it since. oh, I had new wire and a couple of things that needed to go in my car over christmas break and still didn't put in cus I was so **** cold. I hate working in the cold.

well in all theory i could get the rear panels and false floor done pretty fast. i have the cardboard patterns for them done so i just have to trace, cut and mount. but still...lol

I've never been interested in competitions myself. Mainly because I've only had one system big enough to bother with and I totaled my vehicle before I had the chance to do the build. Hell, I've never even been to a comp. I'm sure it's a lot of fun.

Yea the cold gets frustrating. especially in newer cars where the plastic gets brittle. fingers get raw and bloody. bleh. see if you cant find a friend that has a heated garage. or just have the heater blasting in the car while you work on the panels

i have a space heater but still. i have to clean up half of ther garage because that half is full of old boxes i need to tear down and get rid of and amp racks and battery racks and just bullshit. hopefully i can get something worked out tomorow.

thats why i put a wood burner in my garage this past fall, its allowed me to still be able to tinker out there when the temps are low

Working in the cold sucks but I do it. I just go over to my dad's house and work in his garage. He has a little portable radiator heater so I take that out there and usually after about an hour the combination of me working hard and the heater cause me to take my jacket off...
