remember he went form a 12" to a 10" sub because of the truck he has to fit it in... just a reminder, no harm intented. But he could get the buy one get one free 10", and make $$$ off selling the other 10"...

alright so heres the grand total after my price matches were approved

one 10" Pioneer TS-W256C = $49.48

one Power Acoustik A520-2HP 300watt amp = $64.25

a grand total of $113.73 which i less than an amp that was recomended lol

i just completed an install using 2 TS-W306C's 12's which are the model above those subs.

I built a 2.3 cu ft^3 box tuned at 28 hz for each sub drinking 225 watts rms and I would

have to say those are the hardest hitting 12's I've ever heard running off less than 500

watts, they also sounded good while doing it. I'd highly recommend them subs, as for an

amp I'd go with a Profile AP2000, $198 on ebay and it'll have them subs loving it.

You know the amp you recommended is way too small, in the best, most ideal situation it might sqeak out 275 watts RMS at 16volts, Just because it has RF on the heatsink does not automatically mean that it is a kick *** amp, in fact it is puny and useless and only comes with a 30day warranty.

How the hell does a class A/B amp do 350watts RMS when its maximum current consumption at the point when the fuse blows is 20amps?

Last time I checked it takes power to make power.

I have actually owned that amp in the past I might add, I hooked it up to a 150 watt RMS sub and a 300 watt RMS sub. It ran the 150 watt RMS sub with no problems but it couldn't properly drive the 300 watt RMS sub.

Regardless, youre a moron and I pwn you now. go wash my car.

That set up looks good to me, glad to see you were able to find what you were looking for.

In my experience Pioneer subs like the biggest possible sealed box you can get for the nicests sound, somthing in the 1cft net sealed range would give you nice deep sounding bass from that sub, just increase the width of the enclosure for the extra airspace and stuff it with polyfill..

I hear that. Noone wants the Jensen because noone likes Jensen. That and I'm not entirely comfortable with parting with the PA. It is perfect for both the Adire Extremis and RE XXX mids. =)
