Budget build sub recommendations

A friend of mine wants to do a budget build in his old school lac.....looking for recommendations for 12" subs..I remember someone mention in the build section about a pair of hifonics 12" subs for around $50...anyone know about these? or know about some other great budget subs ????

yeah he's a lost cause.....lol he wants to put 4-8 12's in his trunk and a 6 pack of 6x9s in the back.....i tried talking to him about it but ......oh well........

I love those oldschool ground pounder setups. Multi sealed sub setup FTW. The subs you heard about were probably Hifonics HFI subs. Good subs for the money. Lots of people have had good luck with them.

yeah were gonna try to do 8 12's in a sealed box....but first if anyone knows where to find them real cheap please let me know....i remember someone saying 2 for 50?

This. I've ordered amps from them in the past. I believe I got one of my DSC 1500.1s from them and I definitely ordered a 4 channel for a buddy through them. No issues with communication, shipping, or item condition.
