My dome light in the rear was moving about 2-3 inches each way giving someone a demo. I'm not use to this kind of bass at all. It's violent and not close to what it is going to be when I get everything set correctly, I hope //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Yeah, load it closer to the hatch and you'll get crazy lows...just have to find the sweet spot.

I need to, it's not hitting lows like it should, but it's picking up really low. I think port is WAY too far away from hatch, about to go move it.

That's what low notes do. The human ear can only hear down somewhere around 25 hz. You can play a 20hz note and hold a conversation over it.

Ok so I had a terrible rattle. It sounded like the subs were bottom out on lower notes, but it wasn't that (thank goodness). There is a dinky plastic panel on the rear window connected to my hatch that was flapping against the window. That's the biggest rattle down, now to find every other rattle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I have a pack of deadner coming from twistedchild420 soon, and two volt meters. I'm excited about that.

i really like this build bro! it's making me double think my box design for my 2 AQ 18's. i was going to try to smash fit it all in the back of my montero... but, now i'm thinkin of taking the rear seats out with a false bottom like yours... can you put up some more photo's???? check out mine, and let me know what you think... your opinion would help alot bro.... since our set ups are alot alike...

Well, Get Silly it hits with authority. Unfortunately, much truck is getting pounded. I have major roof flex, and the subs are barely moving. They don't get warm nor do the amps playing full tilt, so, I think I need to set my gains higher (with a dmm, of course).

So, this is a speaker wire comparison. On my left is my new wire, on my left is my old wire (to the subs). The old wire is still on there. It's knu 10 gauge versus scosche 14 gauge. Small difference, wouldn't you say?

I'm using some knu 10g for my sub wire, shit's amazing lol. i love how easy it is to peel the 2 wires apart

So, I added some extra strength to my panel, ran the 10 gauge wire, unstrapped my amps, and set both amps at approximately 1000w each @ 1 ohm.
