Bridgeing. Or two channel powering 1 sub.

I have this little 2 channel 140 watt max amp. got it for 3 bucks at a yard sale a long time ago, peice a crap, but I got no money right now to aford a new better more powerful amp. The money I got im goin to buy me a Pioneer MP3 Player.

Anyway, to the point.

If I hook up a sub to the amp wiring the Positive Right, Negative Left, for the poles of the sub, will I get 140 to that?

maybe half of that in constant power if you are lucky- for $3 doesn't hurt to try- but yes that could be the right way to bridge it, unless its pos left/ neg right as some amps are

I forgot to mention, the amp does not SAY that it is bridge-able. So is it still possible to bridge an amp if it dont say it is?

I have the same problem, a 2ohm amp 120watt, and a 4ohm SVC 10"sub. How do I bridge the 2 channel amp so that it's all running to the one sub (instead of 2)?

take the + of right channel to + sub.

then take - of left channel to - sub.
