Breaking in Type R's?

Is it necessary to break in Alpine Type R's and if so how should I?

Im gonna have 2 hooked up to an Alpine m850 and was wondering if there is anything I should do.

I really hate answers like this... if he sets his gains correctly, and he gets the output he desires, it doesn't really matter....

If you want to break them in quickly play them at a low volume on a low frequency test tone (around 22ish Hz). Just make sure that they aren't bottoming out or close to reaching their mechanical limits.

I noticed.. that the surround is VERY stiff at first, and gets much softer as they are played more..

NOT sure if this means anything at all, just an observation..
