Box size help

When making a fiberglass sub box, how would I get the airspace right? Like whats the right math to use?
There is no formula for figuring out an unubtanable solution.

But you can fill the mold with a solid substance and measure it. Dump a pound of sand in there and go from there...

Edit - If you need to know how big to make it before hand just rough estimate the dimmensions. And work from there.

Thanks, that helps more than you know it haha

Now if it comes out under or over the airspace specs, am I SOL, or is there a way to correct it?
Adding a solid item, say 2x4 wood or left over MDF laying around will decrease the internal volume.

For a box to small, adding some polyfill will help.
