box size for se's??

hey i just landed me two 15 inch re se's. i mearsure my trunk and i have 7.5cubs before displacement. i wanna port the box to 35hz(not to high right?). i was wondering how many cubes i should make my box? its going to be a daily driver and i'll be sending each sub around 600-700wrms. thanks.

What amp do you have? One with a SSF? RE says 2 cubes sealed and 4 cubes ported to 30. You might wanna try looking for fellow SE people...

If you get the 1200.1, you'll need to get some FMODs....what's your price range for the amp?

As far as box size....try around 5 cuft after all displacement

the max dimensions i got are 17"h X 36"w X 26"d = 7.58 ft^3. the 15s displace a total of .34 cubes

Hey, Jmac I am going to get 2 15 inch se's my for my van and basically what I am looking for is 4.0cuft tuned to 30hz. Can you give me a design also?

The measurements for my trunk is width 45" x height 18" x depth 14". I don't want to remove the back seat so the depth can only be 14". I am looking for a slot port too and a common chamber.

Thanks Jmac. However doesn't a upward port with the subs facing the back of the car cause cancellation. I always thought that if the port and sub are on different sides cancellation occurs. I going to remeasure my trunk and see what I can do (maybe move rear seat up forward).
