feel better!

3/4, but im thinking maybe double up the part where the sub will be mounted. Sub is pretty darn heavy.

Do calculations for 3/4, its ok if it will off

do u know the displacment of a a 15xxx, i dont see it listed.

btw, what part of the world do u live?

RiCh

well it looks so complicated hope u understand it

here is the top view...

the RED ones are the side boxes. at the left is the added small box, and i changed the small box to the "right" into a PORT, to minimize port displacement.

it doesnt matter, but actually uts towards the FRONT

but u can make it towards the back, and sub also towards the back ,

"wierdest enclosure i've ever seen" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Now mounting the sub the Box...

Tee nuts are the way to go?

Do i have to make some kind of support for the sub inside of the box?

For a 15" xxx how big does the cut of has to be?

On the Sub itself, Theres this rubber thing on the top that comes off, do i remove that then mount the sub, then put it over ? Or do i bolt that down with the sub?

Liquid nails is good enough for sealing the corners?

wiring the sub, do i wire the sub then drill holes for the wire to pass through? Or do i need to mount a terminal outside?

I notice on the top of the sub, the rubber part ( not the removable outer ring covering ) the cone i think u call it, covers some of the holes a bit. it is ok to mount through that? In other words, can i send my bolts through the rubber ?

does the sub has to be centered on the box? Or could i align to the left?

Thank You Bass very much for helping me design this box. I could have never figured this out. Thanks man, really really do appreciate it .

1- am not sure how big the whole should be for a 15 (definitly NOT 15).

2- leave the rubber around the sub, its there to be kind of air tight, when mountenin the sub.

3- liquid nails - yes , and many other ,example silicone.

4-a terminal is always the best idea, if not, just make the wires comes out from the port //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

5- wtf, how come the cone is covering the holes ?? u mean the rubber at the sides of the woofer, is covering the, nail holes in the woofer ??

6- no it doesnt have to be centered, but if it was for me , i would have mounted it in the center especially in ur design, it looks more sexy in the center. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

and hey after you are done send us some sub ****.

and am from sudan-africa. but am half casted, turkey-paki-sudanese PEACE

i'll to get you pics of what im talking about.

Do i have to make a support for the sub in the box? Or could i just stick it in and bolt down?

Response From marleyskater420 , regarding 6 cubes , 34hz.

"Depends on what I was listening to. The box was more geared for boomy rap, and still sounded good with rock, as long as I didn't have the bass EQ up. Otherwise, it was better than the l7's."

Do you Think i should tune lower for more SQ?

I want to have the output of 2 L7 Kickers with way better SQ.

Possible?

yeah , i would go with 30hz then. or you go with the recomended 4 cuft @ 27 hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

thats what i was talkin about from the begining, recomended //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Bass, i dont know if i should stick with this setup

how does the box size affect the tuning. meaning, if i tuned to 29 in 5 cubes and tuned to 29 in 6 cubes, what is the difference? none?

if i have to tune lower, could i modifly my existing box? Or would that be a problem?
