Depending on where you are and how serious you are about the sound. Many places carry plexiglass in very thin pieces and even small pieces. If you are looking into a larger area for the plexi tho you will want to go with a thicker and better grade of plexi or even step it up to Lexan. These can normally be purchased at a plastics or glass company. Most major cities have at least one! Check the phone book for either of the two and call around and get ur best pricing.
