Box *pics*

Actually you can still use both 12" drivers. Just Isobarically load them instead.

if she does do it that way...which i doubt

she has 2 wire each sub out of phase..

Right... But he might not have space to have a driver inverted like that.
And adding a driver inside like that will change her volume and tuning...
True. I fugered an inverted would be the best route and would hope he has that much clearance from the baffle.

Not to thread jack, but has anybody done a Isobarically loaded enclosure before?
Not me but a friend back in the day did 2 JL W1s Isobarically loaded into a 6th order bandpass. Was a small thing that made some decent bass. I didn't like the sound of the 6th order though. He probably messed up the calculations. It was sloppy.

me and one of my old friends built one years ago when the jbl gti subs first came out

it was 8 jbl gti subs in a isobaric ported box tuned to 28hz...with 2 zapco 4kw's

once we finish......we plug that thing in the wall for about 30seconds..and the nieghbors called the cops on us

and the cop said he heard it himself and he was about 4 blocks away and we was in a garage the truck wasnt even outside

i wish i had pix.....but if anybody went to the funk flex car show in englishtown nj about 4 yrs ago...and saw a white escalade with a wall of 15(the back of the subs)

and in back...a wall of zapco amps....3 c2k 9.0's and 2 4kw's that was the truck me and my friend did

I'll say it...

Very nice improvement JT. Only thing, which has already been said, box would choke a child to death. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Otherwise, very good work.

Thanks guys

and thank u PV audio i apperciate it! i really do

i havent ever seen a box isolated either like that .. would be fun to try to make one.. has anyone heard one before?

Many, many times. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Use to be the only way to get two subs in that small of an enclosure. New subs are built for tiny boxes most of the time eliminating the need for iso setups. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Late 80's and early 90's before MFGs started making subs that worked good in small enclosures they were popular.
If you wanted multiple subs + small enclosure they were a necessity //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I dont think thats 1.5cuft...

You said in a post before that it was 15" deep, and at the minimum 30" across and 15" tall. thats closer to 1.5 each...

EDIT

nevermind i thought it was for 2 15".....still looks big tho..
