box help

hey guys, im not on here much do to work and school, but i really need help.

I recently gpt build a box for my 2 DD 1508's it is a box that has 1 cube foot per chamber with a baffle board in the center. i put 2 3 inch aero made out of pvc pipe in the box, i am running it on a Memphis PR 500.1 at 1 ohm. i tested it out the other day and only got 123 DB. i know this is not right and it really baffles me and pisses me off how everybody says the box should work but it dosnt. BTW, the box is subs up, port back. if anyone could please help me i would appreciate it thanks

I have never heard of a ported enclosure that measures only 1 cube. IIRC, ported enclosures are generally larger. But if your set-up is correct then the only thing I could suggest is adjusting the length of your ports until you find the desired frequency/DB.

accoding to DD, the 1508 only need 1ft cube per sub. the box is 2ft cube 1 cube for each sub, the port length is tuned b/t 44-45 hz, but it still only hits 123db, should 1508's hit louder than that?
