I have two bnib Advent AM-10s to play with. I wanted my girlfriend to have some bass in her car and that's all I have laying around right now. I have no idea what kind of box to put these in. I had a pair a few years ago in a ported box and they sounded great for being greatly underpowered lol. These things are only 50wRMS and 160wMAX... I plan on putting very clean power to them but I want to get them as loud as possible (on music obviously). I listen to anything with heavy bass so mostly oldschool rap and bass tracks. I want to lean towards ported or bandpass but I'm open to other suggestions. T-line would be kool, even a rear-loaded horn. I just want to get these things as loud as they can possibly get!

Info & Specs:

Advent AM-10 10" component subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

If anyone is interested in helping me design a box or needs further info on these, I can post specs straight out of the pamphlet when I get home

Any help/input is greatly appreciated! And feel free to bash my speakers lol they DO get loud for what they are

I would go ported for simplicity and space requirements. Let's see the specs, PM them to me and I will let you know what I come up with...Oh yeah what kind of space do you have available?

Kool, I'll PM u the specs as soon as i get home. I wanted the box to be kinda universal. My girlfriend has a '98 Civic so the box can either go in the trunk or on the backseat depending on how big it is. And my brother has a Plymouth Voyager minivan w/ the back row of seats out so It will obviously fit there too. I want the box to be manueverable enough that I could sell it, u know? but if U have to sacrifice dBs for space and maneuverability than **** it, I'll build it as big as it needs to be and put it in the van.
