I picked up 8 CHEAP dual SD12 subs and wanted to do a stupid box in my 02 explorer, just a simple sealed enclosure, my question is can I leave this as a shared enclosure for all 8 subs or not? I'm not looking to set any records or win comps but just say I got 8 12s but I still want it to sound decent

the box will be:

W-40

H-15

D-35

10 cu ft

I will be running them @ 2ohm per channel off a powerbass asa600.4 100w to each sub

added: what about this same setup ported?? Would 10 3"x13" ports do any good w/o separating the enclosure into different chambers?

People didn't like ported boxes because the port noise and needing a bigger box. Therefore, instead of 1-sub in a ported, they would go with...
