Box Design, let me know if i should change anything!

Well here is my enclosure design for two 15" type-R's. Its two separate 3.5cu ft enclosures combined into one box, each tuned to 33hz. If you guys think i should make any changes, anything, let me know!

oh and dimensions are 41" across, 32.25" depth, and 17.75" height

That seems to be right, but I didn't check it thoroughly. What'd you use to design it?

also, there is one error in the drawing. the two middle pieces that separate the two enclosures dont extend all the way out to be flush with the port side of the box, they will be when its build tho, didnt notice that error til now

well, i referred to this for the size of the enclosure iw ould need for one sub:

After i looked at that, i pretty much just kept those dimensions of the box, but combined two of them side by side to create a dual setup. I also added .75" to the top of the box to strengthen where the subs will be mounted.

hmm bummer heh. any suggestions and how i would get this up to 33hz? i can make the depth of the box bigger (not height or length) or do whatever to the port.

But also, for those dimensions I'm getting 3.7 cubes, not 3.5. If it were 3.5...

No, that'd still be ~30-31hz. I dunno, you can't really go wrong with tuning lower and having decent volume as it is. Just be conservative with the gain so that your risk of bottoming out is lessened, and you should be alright. I still want someone to check my math though.

yeah i dont prefer it. would rather use rhino but i dont have it installed on my new computer atm, and im sending in the primary HD for an RMA :-/
