What should i tune it to, how many cubes, and which way should i have it fire?
so 4@ 32 might be goodSealed box: 2-2.6 cuftPorted box: 2.8-4 cuft @ 28-33Hz
higher hz = higher notes.realy that big??? i am going to have two sperate box's of these.
higher hz= lower notes or other way around?
get into home theater and you can throw a 15" in a 8-9 cube box tuned to 15hz or so and you will hear so so so much!Qs are supposed to be good in big boxes with low tunings, but i dont think id go outside the manufacturer's recommendations
oh ok well 8 cubes will fill up the back of my suburban! can i do anything smaller? like 3 or would that not be that good for the lows? if i am at 3^3ft then what hz?higher hz = higher notes.
With a larger box like that you get alot better low end. but you could keep it at 4 cubes. probably wouldnt notice much a difference
meh fill it up! its a suburban you got the room!oh ok well 8 cubes will fill up the back of my suburban! can i do anything smaller? like 3 or would that not be that good for the lows? if i am at 3^3ft then what hz?
ive actually been thinking of putting my 18 in a 15 cube sonotube, but if i did do that i wouldnt be expecting the greatest results on music.get into home theater and you can throw a 15" in a 8-9 cube box tuned to 15hz or so and you will hear so so so much!
