Just Rip that cap out asap and throw in that batt. what type of batt do you have up front is your Big 3 done?
I got a kinetik HC 1800, and in the back was going to go a kinetik hc 2000 that i have purchased, in my room waiting to be put in.Just Rip that cap out asap and throw in that batt. what type of batt do you have up front is your Big 3 done?
how can i tell what voltage is comming from the head unit ? and if 1 volt is only comming out how can i switch this to what would seem the propper 2v ?i dont know if it was already said but turning the gain past 12 o'clock isnt always a bad thing. i think thats a pioneer 3900 hu? if so you have a 2.2v output in your rca. the bottom of that gain is 4 or 5v, top is .2v so the middle (or 12 o'clock) would be close to 2v. now the volume was only at 40/62 so maybe you only have 1v coming out of the hu. that means you would need to turn the gain up even more. you need to match the gain with the input voltage.
still, like others said, use a dmm to give you a better idea.
is there a way to change it so my deck puts out the .2v so i can use less gain and put less distortion into my subwoofers? am i starting to make sense yet ? haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifIF you have low preout voltage past 12 oclock isnt a bad thing. FYI
i run my front batt to my back batt ground amps to back batt ground back batt to the strut tower. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifWhat batt do you have under the hood??? you could put the 1800 under the hood if it will fit and the 200 in the rear. Run a fused line from the front batt (which you already have) to the rear batt then another fused line from the rear batt to your amp. make sure you finde a good ground for that batt. you can ground the amp to the batt but i dont!

will do ! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifjust get that line driver i recommended. It will make you lower the gain down and improve sound quality at the same time
