I want to power 2 X's but there 1000RMS each and i cant really afford a good amp that will power both so wat Watt amp could i get just to make them sound good until i get enough money or should i just save up for a good amp????

I personally do not know. There are many threads on here about which amps to get within a certain budget you will just have to do some looking.

I hope you are not that naive. Please do us all a favor and do NOT buy that amp. Save your money, and make your purchase worthwhile. Ask about budget amps that still have quality, or better yet search for it.

just sell or trade one of those 12's for a decent amp. it would be better than 2 with a shitty one.

I agree sell on of your subs and then spend that money on buying a high quailty amp to push it.

as far as BOSS amps, let me tell you a short story about a friend of mine.

A buddy of mine bought a pair of audiobahn flame series 12's in a bandpass box from someone he knows, and got an amp with it. He was having problems and asked me what i thought was wrong, he said the amp was made by bose. I didnt think much of it because ive never seen a bose amp at any store, so i knew it wasnt bose. Well he brought his truck over one day so i could troubleshoot it... looked at the amp and it said "BOSS". I literally reached over and slapped my friend across the face for confusing BOSE with BOSS. The amp was already fried, so i sold him my MRV-T757 alpine amp. Mind you this thing puts out like 80w per channel RMS. SO we hooked up his subs to it, and hes like "****, i cant believe that 750w amp is so much louder than my 1100 watt amp..." Hell, the subs even started bottoming out, and I laughed (cuz its audiobahn). So yeah, 3 days later the subs blew... on 75w. 400w rms my ***, audiobahn. Alpine>Audiobahn + BOSS.
