everybody is messing with you. caps are worthless, boss amps **** com on man. if you spent the money on 2 alpine type x's then you have to spend the money on a good amp. rockford fosgate, kicker, jl, and some phoniex golds are all good choices.they are just pulling your leg cuase they are prolly bored and want to be dicks to ppl who dont' know as much. Spend the money on a good amp and you won't be dissapointed. Ya this cheap stuff is exactly that cheap. way overrated crappy products. Simple as that. Do some research on some good amps and find the one you want. Just spend some time reading people's posts on here. Sorry about everybody bein dicks to you

ya for $70, Its a shitty amp but for the price I can't do much better. When I only have around $75 to devote to an amp Im limited on my choosing.

Yep...That boss amp will probably send out a clipped signal at any thing above like 500 watts...and it will probably do more damage to your subs than good.

I dont' have type x's, I have a custom tc9. I was just wondering if I should go cheap and get that boss or get a old school rf 225.2 and I was leaning towards the 225.2 anyways.

Thats what Im planning on doing buying something kinda cheap rightnow and after x-mas time rolls around (have to buy gf something nice) Ill buy something better.

Slickcmrick car audio is just a HOBBY to me I dont' waste all my money on caraudio. I have a life and people to spend my money on. Right now I dont' really care what I put on it as long as I get my sub up and running after my amp took a shit on me and broke.

i still have a hifonics bx1000d for sale for 135 shipped. i know its double what you can spend but its still a great deal for some reliable power.
