i see my links don't work. amp is a power acoustik lt620/2, sub is a MTX road thunder 10inch dual 4ohm, both courtesy of cardomain.

oh yeah the sub i plan on getting is a 12" alpine type e 50-250 watts RMS 750 watts peak

that amp will be perfect for u then, and still leave room for upgrade, just be careful with the gain.

what the amp at peak is to powerfull for the sub

as long as you don't have 4volt preouts from your deck, you can use turn down the gain on the amplifier so that it doesn't put out as much power. #2- dont' use peak power ratings, only use RMS ratings when matching an amp to the sub/speakers. #3- that amp will put out 360watts RMS @4ohm bridged(which is overrated... so truely 300-325wrms)

the head unit has 3 2.5 volt preamp outputs

then just put the gains about 1/4-1/3 of the way up then and it will be perfect for that sub.
