BOSS 3000 watt. Is this real?

Ive been looking for a powerful amp on websites and ebay and I'm looking at a BOSS $240 mono class-D digital amp "3000 watts peak" and 1400 RMS at 4 ohms. Seems like a good deal to me. Are these stats accurate?

Nope, it's overrated; although, It is probably the best Boss amp. It's comparable to the Lanzar Vibe 1000.1

Given the choice between a boss 3000w amp or a Lanzar VIBE1500D amp what should i choose.
