I once took apart some MicroAcoustics MA-3DX speakers that were a pretty big deal in the 70s. The entire "crossover" consisted of just a single capacitor. The 8" woofer ran full range.

do you cut holes the same way I do? Draw around the speaker then cut about a half inch inside the line? lol. My jasper jigs are on the way so no more of that.

Well, I'm back for spring break, and I'm working on these buggers again, and i think i may have found a new way to finish these...I painted one flat black to show anywhere where I need to sand a little more... so I sanded those areas down, and was left with this:

I think it actually looks really good, and I'm considering just throwing some gloss on it as it is...
