the only real reason i'm thinking of using resin is for the experience. I have never done it before and have always wanted to and i thought this would be a nice safe first stab at it. Although i am not looking forward to all the sanding that would be needed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
I can see how you think that. But the way it is, the place where the back seat would be is on an incline, like 80 degrees or something. The sub box is snuged in just as tight as it can be, sealing from the trunk. The top is just further in then the bottom, so it looks weird like that. But acually, it is sealed from the trunk. Not to get off topic or anything, but why do you have your box facing in like that... with it not sealed off from the trunk?
OK so i think that i am going to try to glass the box. I have read several really helpful "how to's" and i think its doable for me. Few questions though, can i resin on top of the carpet thats on the box? How much resin do i need to use? I already have the strength i need from the box itself so just for show 2-3 layers? thanks for the help guys!
