Have someone make you one, and do different finish then carpet. Paint it blue.

Buy a box at your local shop. Have them carpet it blue. Or take it home and cover it with resin, sand, and paint.

Ya but you have to do several coats, then seal it...

and unless you are bolting the box down or somehow securing it, don't paint the bottom, because my slid around like crazy...

Get the Krylon spay paint at walmart because it has the nosels that spray retangular instead of circular..

Mmmm its been a while but I believe it was tuned to 35? 4" wide..

It housed 2 12"s for a whole 3 weeks before I dumped it..

just to clairify are you talking about spray painting the carpet or the MDF after stripping of the grey carpet?

What grey carpet? Not every box ever built is made with grey carpet on it.

i'm not good enough to built/carpet my own box, so i need to buy one. 99.9% of all boxes sold come with grey carpet. I need blue =P

remove carpet, resin, sand, paint. Will look good. Or just paint the MDF.

OK so i think that i am going to try to glass the box. I have read several really helpful "how to's" and i think its doable for me. Few questions though, can i resin on top of the carpet thats on the box? How much resin do i need to use? I already have the strength i need from the box itself so just for show 2-3 layers? thanks for the help guys!
