JL is cheaply built i always heard bad things about JL and i wanted to prove people wrong so i traded my sub for a JL13W7 and 300 sunday night, guess what it popped before i even got it tuned. i cut it apart and what a cheap *** sub.

How do you know its blown you stupid fuk? You DONT cuz you never checked it. It could be something simple and fixable by yourself. Not totally likely, but possible. Your too fukin lazy to even take the sub out of the box so your just going to power it up to the max and blow it completely. You are an idiot.

yes, but i don't know how to get it out without dropping it. after i screw it out, how am i going to get it out of the box? pry it?

1. Take box out of vehicle and bring into house....or sit outside car. Point sub/box upwards.

3. Maybe use small flat headed screw driver to get sub to lean upwards some and get fingers underneath.

4. Lift out of box

5. Unhook wires from terminals

6. Inspect woofer for cracks in spider, cone, frayed tinsel lead...etc

7. Get DMM and set on OHMS "Probably Ohms (200) scale

8. Take red prong from DMM and hook to positive terminal

9. Take black prong from DMM and hook to negative terminal

10. Post on here what coil reads, OR take picture and post.

Use something as a tool. shoestrings in the mouting holes or something.

OMG ITS SO HARD TO TAKE IT OUT OF A BOX... seriously .. blow me shaq, ever had to take out a 85lb sub from the top of box? now that might be hard, but this is a ****n 10inch, grow some balls and unscrew it and youll be surprised at how fuc kin easy it is to take out ...
