that would be awesome man! ill pm you! and yeah I'm gonna hit him up shortly for a custom box. Im definitely gonna ditch that sealed box i feel like thats some of the reason i blew it out cuz i had to play it way louder with the undersized sealed box to get the sound i wanted.


Okay, do you think type R's are worth the extra money? I can get front and rear type s for like 150-175, where the type rs are like 250-300

The type-r in my opinion will be way better then the kicker you had. Also like above, talk to the local guys and get a good custom ported box done and dont look back

I'm working on getting a box right now.. just one more question. I have a infinity reference 4 channel for my front and rears, it puts out max 90w rms, idk weather to get typle s (80w) or type r (110w) for my front and rears. obviously the type r is about 100-150 more $$. is it worth it??

I think you'd be perfectly satisfied with the type s's.

I used to hate on the Type-Rs until I heard one of my classmate's dual 12 Type R setup in a ported prefab on a 1,000 watt Crunch amp. Must say, on a good amp and a custom box they would be pretty nice actually. So I wholeheartedly agree.

yea they are not bad subs. Had a friend/teammate with 1 - 15" type r in 4th order wall on i "think" a sundown 1500d doing i think like 147-48 average FCBC style if you know their format

I've decided on 1 10" type r running on my kicker 600.1 amp (actual output is 670 rms) and CSCstang is making me a custom ported box to fit my car nicely, I'm really stoked to see how it turns out. Im also gonna get the alpine type s door speakers front and rear

Get type R components in the front and type S for rear speakers.

Just so you know. The birth shows dynamic power. They are gimmicks, it will do rated like everything else. That applies for kicker, fosgate, ect
