Blazin Jason has a Blazer

Ok so I am still working on it here and there. Here's what I have done recently. Installed the torsion bars, torsion mount, lower control arms, upper arms, knuckles, calipers, sway bar, ball joints. All of the parts have been powder coated of course. I also installed new pro comp ES9000 shocks along with a pro comp steering stabilizer. So the front end now has a full set of E.S. poly bushings (sway bar, tie rod ends, control arms, motor mount, ****** mount), new moog ball joints, new calipers, new ATE rotors, stainless steel braided brake lines, bendix pads & seals. I am waiting for my new tie rod adjuster sleeves to come in and then I will remove and paint the tie rod ends. Not going to replace them as they are already moog's problem solvers.

At this point I just ordered in some more pieces for the engine. From Summit: Crane universal Firewire's spark plug wires, wire loom kit, fuel filter, Percey's aluminum header gaskets, stage 8 header bolts. I also ordered from db electrical 2 200 amp HO alternators. Also ordered 2 alt brackets made by Alan Grove. Lastly from Bill's Hot Rod Company a 300 series power steering pump bracket. Here are a couple pics of what will stop (hopefully) the new 350.

Plus I got my 2 200 amp alts in from db electrical. Still waiting on the alt brackets and ps bracket. Sure would be nice if it came in soon so I can test fit the accessories to the engine.

Thanks. Can't wait till it's all done and ripping shit up. I just love v8's, yes bad for the environment and on gas blah blah. It's a trade off though for torque and kick *** sound. I filled up my thunderbird the other day cost me $98.00 cad for 80 litres of reg. That just pisses me off cause that car has a 3.8 and is gutless as crap. At least with the blazer I will be ok with the gas cost as it will at least have some power to it.

It's hard to capture the color of the candy powder coat as the pics are taken in a portable garage and no lighting. So it's only what natural light is getting through the tarps.
