blazer is dead, i need a new car

They all drive Mopar because they make a ton of power. They are actually a HUGE pain in the butt to work on. HEMI's **** for Maitnence, but they make crazy HP/FTlbs

I dont think any of these trucks would have a problem getting up off the line. None of them are 911Turbos, but they should due. Honestly, my old 96 Explorer moved just fine with its V6, I cant Imagine the lighter Base 4Runner would move any worse.

Caravans just have a huge restrictor plate, all Dodges have hemi engines. With 15 minuets worth of work you can make a '93 Plymouth Voyager push 280 horse. Neons runs 250-260 easily, you jst have to punch a hole in that restrictor plate and the ponies flow man.

wtf? whats a restictor plate? and how the hell is that much horsepower possible?

Hemi combustion chambers need alot of negative vaccuum.. the restrictor plate does that. if you take out the plate the engine needs constant tuning to run right in different atmospheric conditions without the right enging chip modifications.

They won't pass emissions but all you ahve to do is put the plate back in and bypass the varible engine codes and you can slip unde the wire with the state.

well if it wont run right, needs alot of tuning, and wont pass emission....why would i do it?

Because you can get up to 350 horsepower from a 2.0L 4 banger with no real internal mods! Just talk to a mechanic, some of them sell the chips for cars with modded restrictor plates. Ask at the Dodge dealership if one of the techs makes them. They will custom fab them for your application, but usually is only for a racing application. Tell them it's for a track car, and they will understand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
