OP
yeah make sure they clean and if u see a bolt somewhere looks like it's on thicker metal than battery ground move it there.. yeah i got lucky with my alt but they all remans and like tahoe said sometimes takes u 1 yr of swapping to get good one..I don't think it would be the battery or alt. I replaced the battery last summer and the alternator 2-3 months ago. But I'll definitely check my grounds.

FSD audio 700D amp, the car is a 2002 Chevrolet astro
Hmm...could be a bad ground then someplace. It's at a normal 14.5 when the subs aren't on.
strut bolt?Alright so I put the engine ground wire in a different place and made sure to clean of the surface. It's still having a little trouble holding voltage. Should I try putting the two chassis grounds in different places because right now the battery and engine ground are in the same bolt on the chassis.
man that just sounds like bad alt, loose belt or messed up belt tensioner.. wire look good but yeah beefy metal always better..So when I brake or turn, the car almost died when I'm backing up or inching forward and not pressing the gas pedal.
