Biamping and crossover questions

What speakers do you have? What ohm load are they at the speaker wire input at the crossover?
I have the rainbow slc set. The ohm coming out the crossover should be a 4 ohm but u know I never actually thought to check and ensure.

I bought these and when I got them one had a issue where the tweeter input some times comes unconnected and it will stop playing but with it playing I don't see how that should cause an issue.

What speakers do you have? What ohm load are they at the speaker wire input at the crossover? I assume 4 ohms so it would look like this:
Voltage = SQRT(Power x Resistance)

V= SQRT(100x4)

V=SQRT(400)

V=20.0

Use a 50Hz 0DB test tone to set at 20v on the outputs of what ever channels the comps are wired to.
Does that change since I have a sub on channel 3/4 wired at 4 ohm bridged? 300 rms I believe it is at 4 ohm bridged

So once I get a sub amp I'll have the option to biamp. Which should allow me control the power to the tweets? Would it be better to run them active at that point or leave them biamped?

I would only run bi-amped if you dont have a proper active crossover but since you have the sax 100.d I'd just go active. And if you do plan on crossing over low, get an eq to help solve the if the problem arises with the tweeters.

To answer the original question...

The capacitors, resistors, and inductors that get hot are part of the woofer crossover. The other components are assigned to the tweeter. Tweeters get about 90% as much power as woofers.
