I see, ive done 2 15's before and with my power i dont think they will do what i want lol. So i figure try more cone area for a change lol

what numbers did you with your subs? and what subs are they again

Just because I have the space does not mean it will be optimal. It's sitting in the mid 150s as is with 15s

I don't have the room for much more airspace with the design that's making it loud. There is one guy with a similar design with 2 18s but he can't really play lows because his box is too small for 18s.

Having a larger box in the back can also throw off numbers as well. The space the enclosure itself takes up changes the way the cabin pressurizes

what numbers did you with your subs? and what subs are they again

ext cab silverado 2 Soundqubed hds208s under the back seat. Did a 135.5 dropping down to 12 volts might have went a bit lower on a synergy audio who 15.1. That was in the kick though. Might be picking up 2 DC lvl 3 15s tomorrow.

Also if never been to a competition so I have no clue about the different categories.

If you made the correct sized enclosure and changed your port proportionately, I'd bet money you would gain.

Just because I can fit 2 18s doesn't mean changing designs just to cram them in there is a good idea. Adding cone area to get louder isn't always how SPL works.

By no means would you have to cram them. There's plenty of room. If you made the box larger and those ports internal, it would be fine

Again, that's changing design. External ports are one of the advantages of this design.

Why not make it wider? You have tons of room that way.
