Beware AQ HDC3 Issues ??

Getting in a little late on this, but this looks like it was played under tuning and or with a clipped signal. 3kw on any driver daily is risky,let alone excurting to the point of ripping the spider assy. I would not call this an issue with the driver,but more of a reference point of where it will fail under these circumstances.

I don't really have any songs that i play alot that are under 35hz

Yes, He did have alot of power on tap, honestly, maybe the woofer can't handle that much daily?

Theres nothing wrong with that at all.

Still for the price and 2k+ rms is a **** good buy.

I don't know why people aspect it to handle sooo much.

there isnt many woofers out there that can take 2k+ daily..unless its a 4" coil..

i know a few people have commented on it, and thats the reason i clicked into this thread as well. however, nate started to explain what he meant and admitted the title does sound like he's blaming AQ.

These are good woofers and they did get hella loud with a 151.2 without a whole tuning done.

Not personally but plenty of people i know have run Drivers with 2kw+ on 3" coil no prob

Alot of people daily means 3-10kw lol

there are a few 3" coil drivers out there that do 3kw+ daily

are we talking a true 3kw daily, or are we talking a 3kw rated amp daily?
