Better Nightlife: Toronto or Montreal?

buddy its summer time what does Universities have to do with anything.as for nightlife it goes both ways.

and if you're basing partying and nightlife on whether there are universities around then you're definately in the wrong mindset.

Toronto's nightlife is off the hook.. no need for universities to be around in order to have that
im from philly and a good amount of the nightlife for the younger crowd are around these 3 universities that are really close to each other thus the name university city even in the summer.

Toronto is a cancer to Canada... I hate that city....

Montreal FTW !!!!!
this coming from the guy who lives in Sarnia...lol

there is no point to sit here and try and argue with you about which place is better. you have your opinion and I have mine. I like the part about Experience...that made me laugh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
as for the part about there being certain areas where you dont need to speak French, I dont beleive a person needs to have limited places to go because French is spoken predominantly in other places..

Montreal is a great place..for sure lots to see and do...

bottom line is it all depends on what the OP is looking to get out of his visit...
Who is arguing? You need to relax a little bit.

Montreal is more culturally intriguing and, in my opinion, a better place to visit if you want to go to a nightclub and mingle with people. If you want attractions, then you're probably better off in Toronto.

Montreal is more culturally diverse and, in my opinion, a better place to visit if you want to go to a nightclub and mingle with people. If you want attractions, then you're probably better off in Toronto.

hold on a second.. there is no arguing going on here.

nowhere did I say that MTL sucks or anything of the sort.

I said that both places are great to visit.

as for cultural diversity I'll have to disagree out of every city in Canada, Toronto is the most multicultural..

but thats not the point, the OP is looking for a place to party and have a good time. bottom line is both Toronto and MTL will deliver.

Montreal FTW im about 1.30 min from their //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

you're probably around the Waterdown (I think thats how it's spelled) area

if you're that close to MTL..right?

**** both location is 450+ miles away from me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. i might take a plane instead

Montreal if you want to do coke in blacklit rooms surrounded by ***** hookers on velvet couches at 4am.

Yeah, Montreal is an interesting place to visit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

me and my friends plan on going to visit Canada and was deciding if we should go to Toronto, Canada or Montreal, Canada. Anybody have any inputs to which place is better especially the nightlife (clubs, bars, etc)?
I have never been to either one, but I've heard Montreal is better, specifically the strip joints.
