You'd think that on 911 since every aircraft was grounded, that rule would apply to every aircraft.............All but one, Bin Laden's family. I actually wonder if Bush had anything to do with the planning of the attacks himself. Being such an oil GURU, I can't see how he doesn't have his hand in the cookie jar of profits being generated in the oil industry. Just a few mental notes that I had, please don't quote me on anything besides Bin Laden's family aircraft.

Yeah ok... now what stations sell Exxon and Mobil gasoline? Man, that whole idea is bunk.

A better idea is hydrogen vehicles. You can make hydrogen at home easy enough (google for it), you can run it in normal gas engines with a little modding, and it's not gas. Odds are it won't be any cheaper unless you get the process down, but again, it's not gas.

If you can figure out how to effectively turn distilled water into hydrogen + oxygen on the fly, you could fuel any normal vehicle off water.

Feed enough electicity into the water and it should cause the molecules to seperate. That seperation yeilds power. IIRC thats what the space shuttle uses to get up there.

The space shuttle stores hydrogen and oxygen in those huge rocket-looking tanks on the sides that get shot off the shuttle after the fuel runs out. There currently is no known technology that can efficiently convert water into hydrogen / oxygen at a pace fast enough to fuel even a car, much less a space shuttle.
