There must be something we can do, otherwise gas wouldnt have gone from the $1.20 to $1.40 range in the mid 90's down to less than $1 just before Bush took office.

another thing that's wrong with that strategy is that gas stations share gas. you could be getting exxon gas from a Murphy USA, for example... there's no way to tell what you're buying.

Most of you guys have newer cars, which Im sure you didnt know this, but most are flex fuel, jmanpc you have a 05 Grand Caravan, which is probably flex fuel, look at the sticker under the hood. Buy E85 Ethanol, its like 60 cents per gallon cheaper last I looked, you lose some power but if that doesnt matter to you go that route.

Gasoline is sent through terminals. Cheaper gas has shitty filters from that terminal. Also, it's annoying how quick our generation is to say that something will not work. Any type of change will have a ripple effect on any economy. Let it be car audio or oil prices. Oil is currently about $66 per barrel, it can easily go back down to under $54 per barrel. Let's keep in mind that Exxon and Shell have been recording RECORD GAINS each and every year since around 2001. I am talking about around $76 BILLION. Something needs to be done quick about this problem. I only have to drive about 2 miles to get to either of my jobs, but I don't like paying $45 to fill up my tank on any occassion. I will be sending the email as asked, and I don't care what the rest of you think about not doing so. Negativity breeds Negativity.
