where is the 'line' like i mean if your amp is 1500 watts RMS where would you draw the line on one beefy sub, no more than 1500 watts, what about 2k watts?
the continuous power on the subs you mentioned is 600 watts each so that means if my amp is 1500 watts rms wouldn't that over power them and possible blow them?
It is a custom built tc sounds tc-9 with an 8 layer coil and 2500 rms beast...tc sounds imo makes some of the best sounding subs around.....and the tc-9 motor was made to sound goodok what the hell is that though? what brand/model I can't tell just by the picture
wouldn't that be a waste of money or good amp? if your amp is able to handle so many watts and you turn it down?and just because an amplifier says it can do a rated rms, doesnt mean it HAS to, you can control the amount of power an amp puts out by turning down the gain knob on the amp
now there ya go...It is a custom built tc sounds tc-9 with an 8 layer coil and 2500 rms beast...tc sounds imo makes some of the best sounding subs around.....and the tc-9 motor was made to sound good
do you think my 1500w rms amp would be underpowering it? or good enough? It is a custom built tc sounds tc-9 with an 8 layer coil and 2500 rms beast...tc sounds imo makes some of the best sounding subs around.....and the tc-9 motor was made to sound good
It would be ok... or sell both of yours and I will do a package deal on an amp I have....do you think my 1500w rms amp would be underpowering it? or good enough?
My factory Accords kept up pretty well...also i still have my factory car speakers in the Honda Civic 99.. do you think i will need to replace these for better speakers if I get a monster sub? I don't want the sub/bass to drown out all the mids/highs - so that's another thing to consider.
sell it to who? you? or somebody else? i'd rather not deal with the installation and replacing since i'm not a tech. or even have the time/patience or whatever to do that. it would be easier for me to just replace the sub and would prefer that.It would be ok... or sell both of yours and I will do a package deal on an amp I have....
If you already have amps installed itll be easy just drop it in...sell it to who? you? or somebody else? i'd rather not deal with the installation and replacing since i'm not a tech. or even have the time/patience or whatever to do that. it would be easier for me to just replace the sub and would prefer that.
go with the tc-9 + amp deal. but if your gonna be runnin all 2500 watts then electrical upgrades might need to be considered
yeah i don't think i'm ready to do the electrical upgrades etc. i'd rather just switch out the sub with the current setup and get a custom box.go with the tc-9 + amp deal. but if your gonna be runnin all 2500 watts then electrical upgrades might need to be considered
