best subwoofer for $500?

get rid of the capacitor. its not really doing you any good.
if thats happening with the battery light, then your doing something wrong my man.

and by electrical upgrades, i mean, upgrading positive and negative wires up front in the engine, adding multiple batteries in the trunk or wherever, and even high output alternators. sounds like you need to do some reading up on all this stuff before you really go in on this monster system bro. you will be glad you did.
no, i meant when i used to connect the system directly to the battery the light used to go on but, when i got it setup with it's own battery in the trunk it doesn't do that anymore, it runs fine.

well i'm not looking to do any additional electrical upgrades if this will be required. i mean my current system is loud has a competition sub and it runs on it's own battery, if I have to do anything else then I'm not sure if I'm going to look into such a monster system yet.

how can I know if the system that I want will require additional electrical upgrades? is their a certain RMS power or something that will tell me that? I don't want to buy the system then be stuck with problems if i need electrical upgrades.

So you already have two batteries? What subs do you have that are competition? upgrades depend on the car...

aren't cvr 12's cheap cost-wise? i want to spend big since i want some serious violent bass.. I have to check my amp's it's been a while and my brother installed the system but' date=' there's two amps in there now, it's been powering this sub which I think is 1000 watts RMS- ample audio exonic 12x: (actually it could be 500 RMS)

it depends on how many amp your alternator can put out. stock alts usually do around 70, so along with the added amperage from your cars lights and other electrical components, id say a 1000 watt system could do fine without electrical upgrades. anything over 2000 watts your gonna need to do it. no question. but compared to what you have now... im pretty sure 1 12" on 1K with the right box would make you VERY happy.

yes two batteries, the main battery under the hood of the car and another battery in the trunk for the system

hold up. is your whole budget 500 bucks? or is that just for subs..?

I already have 2 amps in the car that are powering that sub, I'm not sure if I need more. What's the brand, model etc..?
