thanks all for the help im gna take a loom at those mentioned, and my price range under $200 and a pair because I want it to thump. mylows your from Monterey too? small world!

A pair won't give you more thump every time. A better single 15 can beat 2 low end 12s. Also a single gets you less imp rise and less cancelation. A single 18 can crush 2 12s, a single 15 can crush 2 10s

that's kinda true cuz I have 1 15 in my corolla and it sounds louder on the low notes than my friend 4 type r 12s. to top it off its a cvr for crying out loud. and it shakes my cabinets, at 30 hz especially. that's the golden tone!!
