I am relatively new to the game and I wondered if there was a good idea on where to go with 10s or 12s? I can fit either but I have 5 cf of box space. What, if any, is a rule of thumb for sub diameter when using a trunk car?
Well there are people who go with subs as big as 15 inches in trunks. It all depends on how big your trunk is.I am relatively new to the game and I wondered if there was a good idea on where to go with 10s or 12s? I can fit either but I have 5 cf of box space. 5 cubes can easily fit almost any 15, or you could go with 2 12's if you want. 2 pioneer 3004spl's with 1200 watts on em each would wangLooking for loud inside the car. I like the Pioneer SPL line, as I mentioned before. I have enough room for the 12s according to manufacturer's specs but I thought smaller may do better. For instance, they say you make kicker boxes bigger and they get louder so I thought other subs may be the same.
