Best Sub under 6" mounting depth

I think you would be much happier to get some beefy 8's or 10's and throw like 1000-1500 at them. In a situation like this, less is more.

WHICH SUBWOOFERS? I'm just asking which sub under 6" mounting depth is the best. I'll worry about the rest later, I just have to get an idea first...

Guys I am not going BEHIND my seat. ... I'm going UNDER them and there is a ton of room for being under seats, which is obviously what I meant. I know I don't own a expedition with all the seats ripped out.... !! c'mon guys. I haven't got one brand yet. All you guys are doing is trying to criticize my situation.

No such thing as best subs. Its all dependent on your ears and ure taste. All the subs that have been suggested would be a very good choice. U just need to see what fits your price range, as differnt subs may work better with more or less expensive amps and install equipment. But all the suggestions ive seen where very nice subs

yeah I sent it before i finally seen a Brand. and ok.......................... which 10's then? but fyi i've seen plenty of trucks with 12's under the seats

Depends what you're looking for. I've ran the DD 1008's and they get loud as hell. SSA DCON will be more geared towards SQ as well as the dayton. Skar is great at playing low frequencies, the Sundown's get loud and can take some abuse. DC and the Fi are good as well.

I'm looking for mainly SQ as I said to start this thread.

but want it to quake as hard as possible for being in a small space.

are these better than the BM mkIII and TW5's ?

For the 50th time you can fit 12's under the seat but they are in boxes that are much much to small... and like I said I can not tell you what subs without knowing how much power and the exact box specs (cubic feet and what its tuned to)

Dont mean to be a d;ck just trying to get you to realize you can squeeze 50 subs into something but you will probably get your @ss kicked in SQ and loudness by someone with less drivers in the proper sized box... That would be great then we can let you know what would be best cuz some subs dont like certain tuning, ported/sealed, or smaller/bigger boxes...
