Best Mid-Full size SUV?

Or just a dirty sensor.

Yea, ice is hell. Slid down a hill once, gave up on the brakes, threw it in reverse and locked the front locker but still with all 4 wheels spinning backwards and the truck still going forward.
Like I said it's pretty hit or miss I have the money for repairs like that but if I can pay $300 more for a vehicle I know isn't going to have an issue like that at least off the bat then I'd be much more comfortable going that route.

If you hit a patch of ice like that you can't do jack lol you might as will kick it into neutral and enjoy the ride

I'm in the Appalachians of TN and VA so neutral would have gotten me all the way to Florida lol

too many pages too read and Im sure its been mentioned but maybe a Ford Escape...or the Mazda version of it...I just sold one for $5000 it had 80,000 miles awd and fully loaded...it averaged 20mpg in town and about 28 on the hwy with the 3.0 V6....I was thinking about building it for SPL but changed my mind

I would prefer a v8

Only commanders local to me are like 2005+ and are going for 12k
They are also a lot smaller inside then they should be and then theres that chrysler quality. Few things to watch out for with older..well and newer tahoes/yukons.. trannys and fuel pumps can be become problems with higher miles. Im a die hard ford guy and when it came time to buy a big suv i got a tahoe over an expedition, explorers really arent that good. 05 and up had rear wheel bearing/spindle problems,***** problems and just werent well thought out. I didnt want a expedition cuz i didnt want IRS. Other than that they are ok but a little underpowered..still to this day.

Dont get a Jeep unless it has the 4.0 in it. Thats if you're thinking about it. But I'll tell you this Jeep>everything else during the winter. They kick some serious ass in snow and ice and thats the main reason I keep going back to them.
