Best Mid-Full size SUV?

I can fit 4 18"s without a wall with my rear seats removed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I could too but I like to have my rear seats.

My thoughts, if you don't have a back seat then why not wall it off? Just seems like a lot of work for a system that will never look good. It can perform very well, but will never look good though.

If you saw my truck right now, you'd understand my thoughts of function over cosmetics. In other words, it looks ugly as shit. I really need to work on it, just no money right now. It'll get there some day.

I guess a better comparison is that I could've fit 2 18"s with the rear seats in, and still be able to see out the rear window.

Get a tahoe, Yukon or suburban. 95 to 97 or 93-94 with the 5.7. If you keep your foot out of it they can get 20+ mpg on the hwy. Hell even my 7.4 liter burbans could get 20 sometimes.
Honestly man they are being biased with no actual proof to back up what they say. Anybody who says GM C and K series trucks are junk hasnt a clue about what makes something reliable. I even tow Hondas and nissans home with my GM trucks.

If you go for an Exploder 1995 was the last of the reliable 4.0's. S10 blazers are not as good as the c&k series either.
I think I'll pass on the exploders simply cause you just don't have the same power there as a 5.7.

Would either of these work? There was a 3rd one but turns out the check engine and ABS lights just came on and I'm not gonna risk it cause I don't feel like spending 1k trying to fix em.

That is the limit of the Blazer 2 18s with almost no room for any batteries or amps.

You can just make some flush panels for now and make it look decent.

I hear where you are coming from I don't really care how it looks as long as it runs good...obv. I have some standards on cosmetics haha but for the most part as long as it's reliable and I can do a decent build with it it's fine

I have 190k on my Exploder. It's more about how you take of them. I know the 5.3's have a problem with oil pressure in high mileage. 350 are reliable, no doubt. Idk, I like having the room of an SUV without driving a gas guzzler. I can get average of 18 out of my ex with my system in.

Idk, I feel like I sound like a douche, but I

USPS truck/car thing? Rain/Ice/Sleet/Snow..they always pull through haha....plenty of room too.

I did an install years ago in a Bunny Bread truck. I loved that thing.

This one looks the best out of those. 4x4 Chevy Tahoe ! 1997
On a side note ABS does not have to be fixed and a check engine light in a gm usually isn't anything to expensive.
My only problem is the "usually" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I'd rather spend some extra time finding a vehicle that can be used without any issues right off the bat then having to dump the money into one right as I get it. I was looking at that one and it does look like the nicest one, pics are 3 years old and manchester is kinda far but I'm ok with driving that far if it's worth it

Should be able to find exactly what you want for about 3 g's . I would go above that only for something special. Hope my info has helped bro.

All an abs light means is that the abs is not working but regular braking is fine.

Yeah I know that much it's just that we have some nasty winters up here and I really need the ABS. It could be the brake pads or the whole system, it's pretty hit or miss..

ABS doesn't really help with ice. If there is ice on the road, you aren't stopping with or without ABS.

I agree pretty much the most you can do when you hit ice is, well, nothing lol. But there is a huge difference in driving with and without ABS when the road is slushy or theres a thin layer of snow thats really packed down and slippery. They clear the main roads up here and side roads don't really get much attention, and most I drive are side roads because it's just quicker to get places.

Or just a dirty sensor.

Yea, ice is hell. Slid down a hill once, gave up on the brakes, threw it in reverse and locked the front locker but still with all 4 wheels spinning backwards and the truck still going forward.
