Best Cities/Places in the USA to Live????

boston is gay... and outrageously expensive... it costs ~15/hr in some places to just park!
Boston is gay? That's a pretty specific and detailed rationale. Boston has more to offer than most places I've been.

But you are right, it is oppressively expensive to the point where I'd consider moving somewhere cheaper. Rent, parking, nightlife...EVERYTHING is extremely costly. It's possible to live cheap and its possible to live well and you can't have both here :p

Chicago was a nice place to live...Food is absolutely killer, but the winters **** balls.

Austin, Tx is a pretty cool place to live...lots of things to do in the surrounding areas and Austin itself..too expensive tho.

Vancouver, Wa/Portland seems like a great place...well, hopefully it will be, being im headed there in less than a month //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i deffinently feel you man i ****ing hate it here in akron. nothing at all to do except a couple of clubs which are very lame or the mall which really gets old. after i finish college at OU im planning on moving down to wilmington north carolina. the night life is supposed to be amazing plus its on the ocean all while being very affordable to live there. unlike most places in the usa it is relatively cheap to buy a very nice house in a great area. also im really into cars and that whole scene and NC is trying to become the leading state in the auto world.

i always hear people saying austin is expensive and i'm not sure why. i mean i live right outside austin in round rock but still it's not to bad, just gotta know how/when to go places.

Wow, awesome to know there's actually cities with active scenes out there.
It's so easy to take your daily routine for granted, easy to forget how much is out there.

Cali may be a bit too expensive for me. Florida could actually be doable.

I have friends in Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, and my step-brother's going to be going to school in Daytona Beach. I should swing down and spend some time down in FLA.

To the people living in florida, how many of you are on a proffessional salary vs. college students/high school students that aren't living at home?

Just wondering how doable living would be down there while still going to school.

Tuition is paid by my pops as long as I get B's or better, i'd just have to take care of food/rent/toys, the essentials //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Tampa was actually on my short list of cities to look into on craigslist, esp. because it's only ~20hrs. from ohio, would save $$$ on moving/traveling vs. airfare to the west. Back when my main hobby was dubs (cars not wheels) i would drive 20-25hrs. to bring cars home from all over the map, so it really wouldn't be that crazy a trip.

I am making 12 an hour, and doing quite well..........its really cheap out here.

yes property taxes are unreal. i think my parents paid like 8grand this year in property tax. cost of living isn't bad if you know how to look. i pay 650 for my 1bed 1bath and it's 950 sq ft and that includes water, trash and digital cable:D.
