I kind of enjoy that aspect...Florida isn't all it's cracked up to be and I was born down here. The tourists/snowbirds can't drive and the nobody speaks English anymore(nothing against P.R.'s or Haitians, just learn the language).
Yeah, not everyone can be a Longhorn.i like spending a weekend in Austin, for 6th st etc... but not to live there. too many hippies/****/etc. last i heard austin has the 2nd largest gay population in the US? ew no thanks.

Had it not been for 9/11 and the horrid job conditions afterwards, I'd still be there.
Exactly...its all because there is nothing else to do. Even here in Lexington its the same way and we have about 300,000 people living here!It seems like small towns always lead to drinking, fighting, and having *** with easy ****s. I moved to Grand Junction, Colorado for 8 years cuz my dad got a better job and that's all I ever did. Finally, when I was 20 and I got out of jail the next day I said **** this town and peaced out back to San Diego. Very expensive to live here though.
the job market is booming again. samsung is hiring like 1000 people this year and dell is hiring a bunch as is IBM.Yeah, not everyone can be a Longhorn.
Hook 'Em Horns!!!
Austin is a great town. Going to UT was a wonderful experience. Had it not been for 9/11 and the horrid job conditions afterwards, I'd still be there.
By the way, I have driven across the US four times, and been to mexico and canada, many times. I am sort of a North American junkie? All I can say is this man knows what he is talking about. West coast, is the Best coast.seattle, portland, denver, boulder, san diego (especially north county area). put a bunch of cities on a dart board, throw a dart and go.
