Obviously I disagree. Retailers can either adapt (as we all must do in business) and stay in business or they can remain hardheaded, continue to blame others and go fill out an application at BB.

With that being said, local dealers are of no service to me. They can't offer anything that's a reason for me to pay 50-100% more than I have to. Yet you think that I should buy from them....why? Why do you buy from local dealers? Do you feel better after getting ass-*****, or do you need the warranty because you blow everything you own?

I bet only 1% of the membership here competes stupidass. While I don't compete on a national level, I do spectate on a national level. I have been to the World Finals of every major org...we know it's small, I know it's small.

Having been to a comp you should know it's pretty **** boring to watch two honda crx's in a stareoff until one hits the remote. It's really kinda ghey.

There will still be car audio companies. I have no idea why you think that car audio will disappear. Will they change thei business models, probably, disappear. Not likely.

As for the hosting of shows...well most people who like car audio much prefer these mini-meets we have from time to time. Ain't much fun going to shows when every car has a tarp over it and won't asnwer any questions about their setup.

Relax, the sky is not falling. I could not possibly care less if there was never another SPL competition held anywhere on the face of the Earth. Again, local dealers just do not seem to want to listen to what is important to the consumer.

They want to force what they believe is important on to the consumer. That is not the way to stay in business.
