A guy I work with was trying to tell me an easy way to tell if a woofer is a good sub. "All you have to do is push down on the cone, and if its real stiff, its a good sub"

I proceeded to tell him one of the $13 subs (EHQS) I just bought had a very stiff suspension... He didn't reply.
