I suggested the op spend a smidge more on the amp, bump it up to 600 watts. Also, I have no experience whatsoever with the XD so I can't really comment on it. If he plans to stick with 400 watts and according to what you say then the XD would probably be a better choice. Cheaper for sure.  :thumbupw:

VXF Skar. Or for just a little more you can get the Deaf Bonce 27XX 12"\12"s (2-12"s=3400watt rms @ 1ohm amplifier)
