Best bass w/o blowing amp.

ya i have MX on 3, i don't get any disotrtion. Maybe u should turn your deck down Jose.

I cant get past 18/35 with mx3.. I have to turn the xover hella high so that they dont distort but they still sound weird.

alpines are funny from what ive read, the MX isnt a "loud" but more of like a deck tuning (dont quote me though)

yea that is slightly correct. Im still unsure of what it does but I gess it is somewhat of an eq or something.

now i go up to like 25/35 and the bass sounds good but if i decide to turn my loud on, u guys think i should go down to like 20 and turn down my mid/treble setting? also is it normal that when i roll down my windows and start bumping, and i go in front of the car the bass sounds awesome but when i roll up the windows and have none of them open, all i hear is a horrible trunk rattle?

also ive only had my system for a week, so you guys think after like 1-2 months of normal playing and stuff, it will sound better?

MX from what I read is to help MP3's. Since MP3's are compressed, the MX feature trys to expand them and reproduce the track like it was before compression. At least thats what I got out of it from my 7995.
