1) His amp doesn't run mono at 2 ohms.I have a New Model Type-R 12 for sale, dual 4 ohm, run your amp at 2 ohms and it will push 1000 easily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif But it might get a little hot. I would sell it for 90 plus shipping. Its in decent shape with barley any scuffs on the rubber surround.

The amp can do ~800wrms at 4 ohms (rated 1000wrms at 4 ohms). So you would be looking at getting a sub that would put a 4 ohm load on your amp. That gives you a couple options, most commonly:So then what does that leave me with, a type R? Since the amp wouldn't be able to push out the 800RMS the LI should be fed... but aren't the LI subs pretty efficient?
And what EXACTLY does 1 X 1000 Watts @ 4ohms bridged mean?
Doesn't that mean if I get a 4ohm sub looking for ~900W, this amp can push it?
Yeah, I've read all about RE, and I like what I see over at realmofexcursion, but it's a little too rich for my blood for the time being.
