what do u guys think about the potential of this setup. ive got plenty of power, plenty of room, i think (3.5 gross) who thinks this setup would be pretty good for a daily beater that gets pretty loud. they will be firing in cabin as well, so that helps.

I was looking into the same thing except for 3 on the back deck. I can't get to kicker's official manual because of a firewall. From the accelerator-pedal site, you can fit 3 in that space.

wire each one to 2 ohms and connect them together u get .6

wire each one to 8 and u get 2.6

cant run that then, as the 9.1 ive only seen at .7 i know it wont realistically see that load, but just to be safe....then again i may do it lol. BUT if i do 3, i cant get my o-scope.

They are available in both a 2 ohm and 4 ohm version. You can wire the 2 ohm version series/parallel and get 1.33 ohms.

I don't have ebay at work. How much are they there? I am finding them in the mid-low $100s.

I want to run 4 (dual 2s would give 1 ohm), but then I would have to go sealed. 4 would go better with my amp as far as matching output to the subs. All I can do is 3 ported on my rear deck, however.

If you go with 3 ported, lmk what kind of box you use. the manual says not to use round ports, err there is no need for them. However, specs say the port length needs to be 21" long per sub. It sounds easier to go with round ports so they would take up less space..
